In an US documentary Debbie Rowe, aged 63, weeps when she says that she could have done more after the addict was addicted to painkillers.In the clip, she says: “I should have done something but did not.
“There is a number of people that died from addictions and in some way I was part of it.”
Thriller artist Jackson died of cardiovascular arrest during June of 2009, having enough powerful tranquilizer Propofol within his body to stop the rhinoceros, former LAPD Coroner Ed Winter told the documentary.
Rowe got married to Jackson in in 1996. She was surrogate mom to children Prince as well as Paris.
She worked as an assistant to top dermatologist Arnold Klein, who died in the year 2015.
He gave powerful painkillers to Jackson and others.
Rowe will be on the next Fox TV special: “I was basically as bad as him (Klein) and I am so sorry I participated in it.”
Rowe did not discuss Jackson specifically in her documentary and decided to focus on Klein who is who is also known as the father of Botox.
Debbie Rowe has also spoken for years in the media about her time as Jackson’s nurse. She also served as an aid to Klein as he cared for the singer.
In a civil court trial, Jackson’s death in 2013 , she accused her boss of giving Jackson a drug habit.
Klein who was famous for her treatment of other stars like Elizabeth Taylor, died aged 70 in California in the year 2015.
Rowe’s friendship to Michael is shrouded in mystery.
There were only a handful of guests at the wedding that was a bit out of the ordinary. It was held on the premises of The Sheraton in the Park Hotel in November 13 the year 1996. It was also during the time that Jackson was on tour with the release of his “HIStory” album.
Strikingly Rowe dressed in a unique bridal gown in black.
The veil surrounding the wedding’s secret was so intense that it was never verified or disproved after the event took place.
The staff at the Sheraton confirmed that Jackson was not even out of his room according to the Irish Times reported.
The couple met for the first time 15 years ago prior to their wedding, at the time Michael was undergoing treatments for his skin issue.
It is believed that Rowe was a therapist to Jackson after his breakup from Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie and the pair became close friends.
Debbie Rowe has been candid in the past about how the wedding was a blur in order to create children with Michael an incredibly supportive father than the one she had.
In an episode of a 2003 TV special titled Michael Jackson: The Footage You Didn’t Want to See, Rowe said: “I did it to help him become father, not for me to be a mother.
“You are a parent.. I did almost nothing for this title. This is because Michael was the sole parent.
“I didn’t do it to be a mother. I didn’t change diapers. I didn’t get up in the middle of the night, even when I was there, Michael did it all.”
